Its been ten days since I last blogged. Guess its time to catch up on everyone else's as well. Things are looking up for this upcoming week. I turned in a really good assignment for Sis. Harris this week and it felt good. I gave my third talk within the last year in the 44th ward....all about Student Living. All three different talks mind you. It went well.
And for whatever reason, it's been an incredibly awful week. Not just for me, but for many people I've talked to. Staci and I have decided to make a better resolution to go to the temple. Our goal is to go again this coming Saturday. Cross your fingers and pray real hard that nothing comes up....

Lyrics are my Life
Sugarland -
I can't take it any longer but my will is getting stronger
And I think I know just what I have to do
I can't waste another minute after all that I've put in it
I've given you my best, [why does she get the best of you?
So next time you find you wanna leave her bed for mine]
Why don't you stay? I'm up off my knees
I'm so tired of being lonely, you can't give me what I need
When she begs you not to go, there is one thing you should know
I don't have to live this way, baby, why don't you stay?
Reba -
TURN ON THE RADIO
No Good, Two Timin', Lies comin' outta your mouth.
Cheatin', mistreatin' games that you play brought you down.
Broke my heart, tore it apart, look who's got the last laugh now.
Don't you come crawlin' begging please on your knees, baby if you're missin' me.
(Chorus)
Well, you can hear me on the radio!
You wanna turn me on, turn on your stereo.
You can sing along, while they're playin' our song. How you done me wrong...
Baby crank it up!
Until you blow the speakers out your Chevy truck.
So listen Romeo, when you're feelin' kinda lonely, let me tell you where to go.
Turn On The Radio!
Try to call, twitter me, text until your fingers bleed.
Oh! The DJ's the only way you*re ever gonna hear from me.
If you're reminiscing, and you're missin me this much, and you really wanna stay in touch.
CONSIDER ME GONE
Every time i turn the conversation to something deeper than the weather i can feel you all but shuttin' down.
And when i need an explanation for the silence you just tell me you don't wanna talk about it now.
Bridge: 1
What you're not saying is coming in loud and clear we're at a crossroads here...
Chorus:
If i'm not the one thing you can't stand to lose
If i'm not that arrow to the heart of you
If you don't get drunk on my kiss
If you think you can do better than this then i guess we're done
Let's not drag this on
Consider me gone
Verse 2:
With you i've always been wide open like a window or an ocean. there is nothing i've ever tried to hide.
So when you leave me not knowin' where you're goin' i start thinkin' that we're lookin' we're lookin' at goodbye.
Bridge 2:
How about a strong shot of honesty don't you owe that to me...
Chorus:
If i'm not the one thing you can't stand to lose
If i'm not that arrow to the heart of you
If you don't get drunk on my kiss
If you think you can do better than this then i guess we're done
Let's not drag this on
Consider me gone.
Consider me a memory.
Consider me the past.
Consider me a smile in an old photograph someone who used to make you laugh.
If i'm not the one thing you can't stand to lose
If i'm not that arrow to the heart of you
Then i guess we're done let's not drag this on.
Consider me gone.
Consider me gone.
Consider me gone.
Just consider me gone.
I"M A SURVIVOR
My roots are planted in the past
And though my life is changing fast
Who I am is who I wanna be
With gentle hands
And the heart of a fighter
I'm a survivor
I can't take it any longer but my will is getting stronger
And I think I know just what I have to do
I can't waste another minute after all that I've put in it

So proud...
of my brother Jeff, who will be an Eagle Scout this week. I didn't get to share in Michael's Court of Honor, so I'm happy to get to spend time with Jeff this weekend and share in his accomplishment.

You Know You're An Interior Design Major When...
A) You come home. Wash your hands and you understand the meaning of 'gray water' when all the graphite on your hands washes down the drain.
B) You're walking to school and realize...everything you're wearing is black. You then reassure yourself...No I'm not gothic, just professional.
C) You're having a mental breakdown and realize that midterms aren't even here yet.
D) You freak out when you're class is critiquing each other's work and you freak out realizing that you didn't draft an entrance to your bedroom.
Brought to you by Jessica and the BYUI Sophomores (from within the last few hours) :)

Potential Status' Day1
Soooo....for a long time now...I've been thinking about my regular blog of Potential Facebook Status'.
You know how you think in your head...'Man! That would be a great Facebook status.' But of course you don't want to change it 50 times a day. So, this is the beginning of a new tradition... You BLOG them instead of Facebook them. What's the difference?! I don't know...they are just hilarious. :)
10/11/10
Jess - [listening and singing to Beauty & Beast] 'Ohhhh! Isn't this amazing?! It's my favorite part because you'll see. Here's where she meets Prince Charming, but she won't discover that it's him 'til Ch 3!' [speaking] "Stace! We just have to wait until Ch3 for our Prince Charming!"
Staci- Ah man! I thought I was on Ch 22. :(
Stac- Dating should be like volleyball. All you do is call MINE! and everyone backs off. :)
10/19/10 - "Que Sara, Sara" - whatever will be, will be. The future's not ours to see..."Que Sara, Sara."

Photography as an outlet, Hu?!
I've not had a chance to do any photography since the summer. Probably because I don't have an awesome camera. I've fallen in love with it. I'm going to attempt to enter a Photography Scholarship in the next few days and see if something will come about from it. Here's some samples.... Please don't use or copy my work.

Almost Like Lyrics
don't ask why....
already know why.
but, it still hurts.
never ends the way i need.
no matter how
it seems to change.
don't cry.
don't cry.
not my Plan.
not my ways.
keep believing....
through the pain.
reaching outward.
see the flags.
hear the race.
don't cry.
don't cry.
so much pain.
nothing to gain.
it still hurts.
there are few
too many differences.
be still my soul.
don't cry.
don't cry
already know why.
but, it still hurts.
never ends the way i need.
no matter how
it seems to change.
don't cry.
don't cry.

Multi Post of Multi Thoughts
A) - I'm slowly trying to be rid myself of Facebook. I spend too much time on something unworthy of my time. Blogging, I've found is a place for me to explore my feelings. Write things out and keep track of things. THUS - all the recent posts on the blog.
B) - Saw Step Up 3 with the roommates tonight. Probably shouldn't have because of all the homework left undone...but did anyway. Such a great release. I LOVE dance! I miss expressing myself that way. My body screams from within when there's no way for anyone to understand how I feel. Angry, ecstatic, lonely, flirty, etc, etc. I've not quite found that expression in Interior Design. There's no out put for me in Design. YET?! I'm only feeling stressed. Yes, I enjoy it. But, i don't feel expressive yet. I need that. Does ANYONE out there understand that?! Those dancers are so passionate about dance. I want to feel passionate about what I do. I've often thought about photography. Would photography make me feel that way? For now, I'm committed to design.

"Spilled Ink"
As my cousin so wisely suggested, I'm going to 'spill my guts.' So, forgive my blogger regurgitation. This is kind of turning into my journal of sorts. The place to make sense of all my madness and craziness.
It has been a small miracle that I've made it through this last week. I went home for the weekend in order to spend the day with my good friend Allison for her beautiful wedding day.
While there, I had some issues. I'm still not over them. It hurts. But, I also realized how selfish I was. I will stay in my shell where it hurts, but where I will no longer hurt anyone.
On top of all of this pain, I've had so much pressure from my school work. Three projects, a fifteen page pager, and a presentation. This stress still continues and many upper class men tell me sophomore year is one of the hardest.
Conference could not have come at a better time for me. I had a beautiful blessing from caring home teachers and that brought peace and direction. It's been such a blessing to have great roommates who love and care about me. We've had a ball preparing desserts and food for some of our favorite friends in the ward.
My family continues to be a strength to me.
I'm so grateful for my knowledge that Heavenly Father knows and loves me. Enough to guide me to where I need to be and what I need to be doing. Here in Rexburg, I've discovered that I'm closer to Him and depend on Him more. Heavenly Father knows the struggles I have, the things I need. I have to continue to trust in Him. No matter how hard things are.

Dear Chels - Maybe no one but you will understand how I feel about those days. :)

I've Been Thinking Today....
Yvaine: "You know when I said I knew little about love? That wasn't true. I know a lot about love. I've seen it, centuries and centuries of it, and it was the only thing that made watching your world bearable. All those wars. Pain, lies, hate... It made me want to turn away and never look down again. But when I see the way that mankind loves... You could search to the furthest reaches of the universe and never find anything more beautiful. So yes, I know that love is unconditional. But I also know that it can be unpredictable, unexpected, uncontrollable, unbearable and strangely easy to mistake for loathing, and... What I'm trying to say, Tristan is... I think I love you. Is this love, Tristan? I never imagined I'd know it for myself. My heart... It feels like my chest can barely contain it. Like it's trying to escape because it doesn't belong to me any more. It belongs to you. And if you wanted it, I'd wish for nothing in exchange - no gifts. No goods. No demonstrations of devotion. Nothing but knowing you loved me too. Just your heart, in exchange for mine." (Star Dust)
